It is also one of the IMDb's highest-rated Tamil movies of 2021, so far. The Telugu dubbed movie Aranya has a strong message about the conservation of forests and elephants. The movie is inspired by real-life environmental activist Jadav Payeng and throws light on how humans should co-exist with nature and animals.

Presented by filmmaker duo Raj and DK, the movie is about two friends, one a rickshaw driver who finds an expensive camera in the back seat of his vehicle. He tells his friends about the camera and the two decide to make a film with pure intention in the heart.
